| Concord is a country church in the truest sense. Many members are descendants from charter members of the church. The present building was originally called The Concord Meeting House. This site includes a history of the church, the adjoining cemetery, and a list of Pastors that served the church, as well as the current events for the month, and any future events Concord has planned. There are selected devotion's, sermons, and other information we feel maybe useful. We pray that as you visit our web site that you truly receive a blessing. Nolan's Notes: May Newsletter 2012 Ephesians 1:5-6 "Having presestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesu Christ to himsef, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." We are special in the sight of God. HE loves us tremendously. His love for us has never wavered. He has placed us in a very special position as one of His children through the power of Jesus Christ. Do you realize in the OT, there were three types of persons who were anointed by God: prophet, priest, and king? As I bring this thought to us for today, if you are a believer, we are a prophet, priest, and a king because God has anointed us. How are we all three of these? As a prophet, we are to recieve the Word from God and share that Word with others. As priest, we have direct access to God, so you can worship HIM and offer spiritual sacrifices to HIM. As king, we are to reign with Christ. What does this mean for me/us today? As you face the cares of the day, ask yourself, "What would a prophet say?", "How would a priest respond?", and "Would a king realize that he is ruling and reigning with The KING of all KINGS?" As a believer we are very special in HIS sight. We have been anointed with power from on high. Greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world. What a special position that a child of God holds in the sight of The true and living KING. As I mentioned in the beginning of these notes, we are special because of who we worship and serve. Victory is ours. Let's live like it and share this victory with others. Be a prophet and share Jesus with others. Be a priest and go to The Throne daily. Be a King and realize that all authority and power is in Jesus Christ as we rule and reign with HIM. IT IS GREAT TO BE YOUR PASTOR. IN HIM, Bro. Nolan |
